Field Director Vacancy for Prison Fellowship ministry

If so, PF is currently seeking a talented Field Director in NYC who can ignite the passion of the local church and partner with them in coordinating Prison Fellowship’s ministry to prisoners and their families as well as cultivate relationships with the local prison community. As a servant leader in this exciting frontline opportunity, you will promote an environment that will attract and motivate quality volunteers while fostering teamwork and personal spiritual development. You will be blessed as you develop and coach volunteers to meet ministry opportunities and challenges!

Requires:

·         3 years program management experience including one year supervisory experience
·         and 2 years recruiting and managing volunteers
·         Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent coursework and experience
·         Excellent proven team-building and teamwork skills, with strong demonstrated
·         ability to develop personal networking relationships
·         Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
·         Intermediate computer skills; working knowledge of Microsoft Office; ability to 
·         learn new technology
·         Ability to work in structure of in-home office with supervisor in separate location
·         supported by a national office
·         Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic plans
·         Demonstrated ability to work cross-racially, cross-culturally, and cross-
·         denominationally
·         Proven and verifiable financial management skills
·         60% percent travel
·         Satisfactory driving record and criminal background check (PF does not
·         discriminate against ex-offenders)
·         The ideal candidate will be located in the NYC area. Relocation benefits are not included with this opportunity.

Salary range: $40,000 – 50,000
