The Doctor of Ministry Congregational Ministries cohort presents:
Leadership for Economic Development
with Rev. Dr. Floyd H. Flake, Adjunct Professor
The Doctor of Ministry degree, granted by New York Theological Seminary (NYTS), is an advanced professional degree appropriate for clergy and lay professionals with significant ministry experience who desire to deepen and improve their ministries through a disciplined and integrative process of action, reflection, and research.
Program Objectives
The primary objective of the program is to develop professional competencies, critical skills for reflection, the capacity for advanced theological research and interpretation, and effective interpersonal skills for service. The program is designed especially to prepare church leaders for customized ministries in the context of a multicultural, globalized, and increasingly urbanized world.
