Passing Away of NYTS Alumna Rev. Joan C. Speaks

New York Theological Seminary regretfully announces the passing of the Rev. Joan C. Speaks (Stone Mountain, GA.) Rev. Speaks was a graduate of the MDiv. program, and served NYTS as a Certificate Program Director, faculty member and a founder of the Resource Center for Women in Ministry. We are saddened by this loss and are sending prayers of comfort to her family, friends, and and fellow alum of the NYTS Community.
