Larchmont Avenue Church seeking new Associate Pastor

The Larchmont Avenue Church (LAC), a Presbyterian community church in southern Westchester County, New York, within easy reach of New York City is an active, intellectually engaged multi-generational congregation of more than 800 members.  Our 100 year old church is a dynamic house of worship that embraces our traditions while working towards progressive programs that serve all ages.  We are seeking an associate pastor to enhance and grow a vibrant Youth Ministry program including leading Confirmation Classes as well as deepening faith inquiry in our mission work both locally and abroad. In addition, the associate pastor will help lead the celebration of worship with joy and enthusiasm as well as assist the senior pastor in pastoral care, including counseling and visitation.  The candidate should be open-minded, articulate, confident, skilled in working cooperatively, technologically savvy and inspired by the work of creating a deeply meaningful, visible and creative youth ministry that upholds the spiritual lives of today’s youth.
