On Sunday, April 25, NYTS President, Rev. Dr. Dale Irvin, preached  sermon, “Shepherd’s Guide Through the Great Ordeal, at the Riverside Church, exploring the metaphor of the sheep for today’s culture. He made reference to today’s pastor having “to be skilled at navigating through very divese rugged terrains as they descend into those emotional valleys,”  and how we need special training to handle the more sophisticated wolves of our day.
