Peter W. Buller ’50, Dies

      Peter W. Buller, after a life dedicated to building the church of Jesus Christ through sharing of the Word of God, died on August 28th. His life was a spent preaching, teaching, and training pastors and church leaders.

     Buller attended Goshen College, New York Biblical Seminary, and from Princeton Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity. Following his graduation from Princeton he taught in the Pastors School of Theology in Congo from 1966 to 1987.

     He married Gladys Klassen and together they served as missionaries in the Congo under Africa Inter-Mennonite Mission from 1951-1987. They celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on June 28, 2009.

     Buller has pastored several churches including the International Protestant Church of Kinshasa, Congo; Berkey Avenue Mennonite Church of Goshen; and Olive Mennonite Church, Elkhart. 

   He leaves three children, James and Charles of Goshen, IN,  and Jeanette Slater of Phoenix, AZ.
