Linda Gilliam ’98 Named to NYTS Board

   Lynda Gilliam,  a 1998 NYTS graduate, was elected to the NYTS Board on, Friday, October 16th. Lynda has more than two decades of experience working in the corporate world, in government, and as a career advice columnist.

   In January 2008, Lynda began writing Spirituality & Practicality, a bi-monthly newsletter that aims to increase personal power and effectiveness by encouraging individuals to actively put their faith to practical use. She was also a career advice columnist for over nine years, her  Tips & Tactics column appeared regularly in three national career guidance magazines.

   Lynda has been honored by at the Alpha Gamma Pi Honor Society for her outstanding contributions to the community and by the Professional Insurance Agents and Brokers Association for her contributions to the Insurance Industry.

   Her degrees include, a B.B.A. in Insurance from St. John’s University (formerly the College of Insurance) in Nerw York City, a M.B.A. degree in Marketing from Roosevelt University in Chicago, and a Certificate in Christian Ministry from New York Theological Seminary in New York City.
